groovix history

Michael Pardee founded Open Sense Solutions LLC in 2004 to bring Linux to people who weren't system administrators or computer hobbyists. Open Sense Solutions brought the world's first simultaneous local multi-user computer to market and shortly thereafter developed Groovix Public Access Computing software in direct response to customer requests. Originally based on Debian GNU/Linux software, Groovix switched to Ubuntu in 2006 and releases major software versions yearly. Today Groovix gpl-licensed open source software powers thousands of computers around the world, keeping them secure while giving users flexibility and privacy.
